Westminster City Council Case Study

We work very closely with WCC’s internal team, the Records Management Service. They deal with the planning, developing, consulting and embedding of office records and initiatives within WCC. They soon recognised the need to outsource records storage to allow the councils buildings to be used more effectively.

Box-it have since taken in the region of 50,000 archive boxes in store for Westminster City Council.

To request a copy of the case study, please contact us via e-mail or visit http://www.boxit.co.uk/case-studies-2.asp

20 Years at Box-it!

We would like to say a huge congratulations to Ian Rickman, who today celebrates 20 years with Box-it!

Ian is hugely popular with many of our customers and in his time with Box-it we have received many letters commending his level of customer care and numerous compliments.  Every day Ian operates one of our London routes delivering to and collecting from the City and surrounding areas, adding that personal touch and getting to know our regular clients.

Recognising his skills, he also carries out best practice driver training as well as environmentally beneficial techniques.

On behalf of all of the staff and directors here at Box-it, we would like to thank Ian for his long service, hoping that he will be with us for many more years to come.

Congratulations and thank you, Ian Rickman!

Over Half a Million NHS Files Catalogued

We at Box-it have been busy with our partner Niche Health providing a complete integrated records management service to GP surgeries across the UK.

Niche Health provides solutions and services to the Health Care marketplace. Their flagship product, noteSpace, is a purpose built service allowing the removal of patients paper medical records off-site into secure storage.

As part and parcel of the solution we jointly provide file collection, bar code tracking, secure off-site storage, retrieval & delivery of requested files along with full auditing & status reporting. All of these processes are controlled through the easy to use noteSpace software which integrates with General Practice’s clinical system.

At Box-it following collection of files via our own fleet of tracked vehicles, all cataloguing is completed within a highly secure and controlled environment by our dedicated cataloguing team using a purpose built cataloguing app that is geared to ensuring accuracy and efficiency of process, through comprehensive filed rules and database validation. Cataloguing each file at NHS number level enables relevant retention rules to be applied and for each file to be tracked from its storage location securely back to the surgery (on request) or through our secure N3 platform which delivers scan on demand retrieval requests digitally direct to the requesting surgery’s clinical management system.

Box-it have just completed the cataloguing of our 500,000th Lloyd George file and we expect that the partnership will continue to grow in the future.

Our dedicated team of cataloguers and AIIM accredited Taxonomy practitioners are on hand to advise you on the best way to solve your records management challenges both across the NHS and other sectors having recently undertaken similar projects for private sector clients for HR, Legal, Finance files and other public sector clients cataloguing highly sensitive files such as care records.
